At the heart of Elevation Place Global is the Morning Cup Devotional, a space dedicated to helping believers begin each day grounded in Scripture, prayer, and practical encouragement. With the message “Sip the Word. Stir the Spirit.”, Morning Cup creates a welcoming atmosphere for spiritual growth, healing, and deeper intimacy with God.
Elevation Place Global is also home to Pastor Shayla’s book, Incarcerated Little Girls: A Girl Restored, A Woman Healed, along with ebooks, prayer guides, journals, and other devotional resources designed to inspire restoration, faith, and purposeful living.

Shayla Renette Captville-Payne is a prophetic voice and visionary that God is raising up for such a time as this.
She is a woman of remarkable resilience and strength, a true testament to perseverance in the face of countless challenges and trials. Despite the storms she has weathered, Shayla R. Captville-Payne continues to rise boldly, inspiring others with her unshakable courage. Her candid nature is both refreshing and empowering, as she speaks the truth with compassion and grace. Beneath her bold exterior lies a gentle spirit--one that listens, nurtures, and selflessly uplifts those around her.
She is the daughter of Bishop Raymond Captville and the late Evangelist Malvin A. Bessard-Captville. She wears many hats with excellence: a devoted wife of Pastor Walter L. Payne III, who together share through union the blessing of nine children. She is a gifted author, an entrepreneur, and an ordained pastor. In each role, she pours herself into helping others, placing their needs above her own and guiding them toward healing, growth, and transformation. Shayla's life is a shining example of strength, faith, and purpose, lived with unwavering boldness and an open, generous heart.
She has previously served as worship leader, media director, praise dance director and youth pastor. She is the founder-director of Send for the Women Ministries for over 13 years. She was ordained and licensed as a pastor after graduating from Lifeline TNT Global Ministries Minister’s Training Institute in Los Angeles, California under the leadership of Prophetess Taryn T. Tarver-Bishop. She is currently under the leadership and covering of Dr. Apostle Innocent and Pastor Ruth Innocent of Freedom House International Church in Houston, TX.
Shayla's deep faith and unwavering dedication to fulfilling her calling are evident in the way she lives--with purpose, resilience, and a heart fully devoted to serving others and making a meaningful impact.
