About the Author

For a long time, I struggled with sharing my story. The weight of my past, the scars I tried to hide, and the pain I thought I had buried felt too heavy to bring to light. I questioned if my voice mattered, if my story was too much, and if I could truly open myself up to the world. But deep down, I knew—I had to.

I wrote Incarcerated Little Girls: A Girl Restored, A Woman Healed because I believe in the power of truth, transparency, and transformation. I know what it feels like to be bound by the wounds of yesterday, to live in silent suffering, and to wonder if healing is even possible. I also know what it feels like to be set free.
​
But freedom only comes when we’re willing to be honest—honest with ourselves, honest with our pain, and honest about the process of healing. Writing this book required me to strip away every mask, every defense, and every excuse. I had to be vulnerable enough to tell the story as it was, not just for my own release but for the countless others who are still trapped in their own prisons of hurt, shame, and brokenness.
